PRECISE AND COUNTED: FROM THE PRINTING PRESS TO THE DELIVERER

The first challenge is over, your paper is printed, the inserts are shot in, now it's about the delivery for the deliverer. Now every truck should be optimally loaded and drive an efficient route and deliver to all delivery districts on time, so that your customers have the newspaper on their table in time for their breakfast coffee. But the road is long and a lot can still happen. Wouldn't it make sense to always have an eye on all the trucks in order to be able to react quickly to problems and delays? and to be able to inform the delivery staff in the best possible way?

Two people at work.

TOUR PLANNING AND OPTIMIZATION

You know what it's like: there are an infinite number of criteria to consider for optimum route planning: First the simple questions: How much volume can be loaded in the vehicle used? How many vehicles are available? Or should more be mobilized? Which locations will be served?  Then we go into detail: Are there any ferry connections to consider? Are ferry times to be considered? Are the unloading points for individual distributors only open at certain times? And much more. With vMap Portal Truckplanner, all these requirements can be entered together. The system uses the data to automatically calculate optimum route planning. So you always have everything covered. And if there are changes in individual districts, the new routes are automatically calculated for you ad hoc, without having to make multiple changes in different Excel lists and rewrite individual routes.

LEADING STAND

You always have your trucks in view. All your drivers need is a standard smartphone or tablet and our app. You can always keep an eye on all vehicles on a map view via our control center, see delays immediately and react if, for example, a truck arrives late at a delivery point because it was delayed in loading. It is then possible, for example, to inform the delivery driver of the delay by text message, e-mail or similar, or to send orders to the vehicle digitally. And you already know that some of your customers will not receive their newspaper in time for their 6:00 a.m. coffee. Important for optimized quality and complaint management.

PLANNING AND OPTIMIZATION OF DISTRICTS

The layout of districts can be customized with just a few clicks. Be it for a 450-euro employee or for a delivery person who has to be at their other job at 9 am. In this way, the needs of each delivery person can be taken into account and requests can be accommodated. This makes planning personal and attractive for potential new employees and also simple and efficient for publishers.
